Longtime native musician Henry Kapono will carry out on Maui on Dec. 10 in a live performance that can characteristic the music of Cecilio and Kapono, also referred to as C&Okay.
That includes hits equivalent to “We’re All Alone,” “Lifetime Celebration” and “Sailin’,” the live performance will happen at 7:30 p.m. on the Maui Arts & Cultural Middle’s Fortress Theater. Tickets will go on sale on-line solely at MauiArts.org at 10 a.m. Wednesday to MACC members and on Nov. 29 to most of the people.
A Grammy-nominated, 20-time Na Hoku Hanohano Award winner and 2021 Favourite Entertainer of the 12 months, Kapono is a vocalist, guitarist, songwriter and composer who fashioned one half of the laid-back island rock band C&Okay that rocketed into fame within the Seventies and stays influential in Hawaii’s music scene, in response to a MACC information launch.
